A Brief History of Massage
Massage is considered to be among the oldest treatments used by man. Records dating back as far as 3000 years were made by

wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. Today massage is an accepted
part of many physical rehabilitation programs and has proven a benefit to many chronic conditions such as low back pain, arthritis,

Shiatsu are among the massage forms that grew out of this rich tradition. Anma is deep tissue work using no oils and is based
on kneading movements.
Shiatsu
Literally translated as "finger pressure", Shiatsu is a Japanese form of body work designed to promote health by influencing
and improving the state of Ki (Chi in Chinese) in the body. "Ki" energy.

Reiki (pronounced ray-kay) is a Japanese word representing Universal Light Energy.
